We had our second birthday celebration at Joo Kodit on 16 September, and it got us thinking about the exciting year that just went by. So, what does "Joo" mean for us after our second year?

1. Joo means interesting new developments

Over the last year, we've completed several new Joo Kodit developments, which feature accent walls, tiles, and kitchen cabinets in vibrant colours. Residents can also enjoy innovative shared spaces like gyms and laundry rooms with lounge areas. Explore our new developments in more detail here.

2. Joo means a new cosy café

The Joo Hetki café was opened in January in Toppilansalmi, Oulu. The café welcomes everyone who likes to enjoy good food and drink. It also serves as a venue for a wide variety of events - we'd love to see you there!

3. Joo means a dedicated residents' app

Last spring, we launched the Jooppi residents' app, which makes managing your home easy. Whether you're moving in, need to request maintenance, or want to use our residents' services, help is at hand in Jooppi. Plus, it features a range of fantastic residents' benefits! 4. Joo means caring for the environment

Looking after the environment is important to us, so in addition to maximising energy efficiency, we've installed solar panels in dozens of apartment complexes in the past year. The energy they produce is used for things like ventilation, lighting, heating saunas, and charging electric cars.

5. Joo means embracing the Joo attitude

Joo also means encouragement and inspiration to follow our hearts! On 5 May, we celebrated the first ever national Joo Day, which involved trying fun things out together. We gathered at Joo.Arena in Kirkkonummi and Joo Hetki in Oulu to check out new sports, look after our bodies, enjoy delicious treats and live music, and to add a little extra glitter to life.

Here's for the third year of Joo Kodit

We want Joo to mean a wealth of new possibilities now and in the future – and we hope those can be embraced by every single one of our residents.
