How to make a gingerbread house

This tiny gingerbread house is a cute decoration that smells exactly like Christmas. We challenge you not to eat all the sweets before Christmas Eve!

Here's what you need

• Download the template here
• Gingerbread dough
• Sugar icing or baking glue
• A variety of sweets

How it's done:

1. Print your gingerbread house template on an A4 sheet of paper and cut out the shapes.
2. Roll out the dough and cut out the base, walls and roof with the help of your template. Bake them in the oven according to the instructions for your dough.
3. Allow the shapes to cool down, then decorate them with the icing sugar and sweets.
4. Use sugar icing, melted sugar or baking glue to assemble the house on your base. Press the pieces together for a moment to make sure they stick.
5. Add the final touches by covering the seams with sugar icing and decorating the base with more sweets.
6. Put your gingerbread house on display at home or give it as a Christmas present to a friend.
