Changes in bill payments
Joo Kodit billing has been transferred to Ropo in September, 2024. Ropo sends our rent bills and manages all billing-related customer services.
You will receive your rent bills via email, unless otherwise agreed. The sender's email address is laskutuspalvelu@ropo.com. You can also view your bills in the Jooppi residents’ app as before.
Please use Ropo's payment details when paying your bills. Please note that each bill has a unique reference number.
You can check your billing status and make payments in the MyRopo service. There you can also get in contact with Ropo's customer service. You can also see their other contact details here.
Frequently asked questions
No worries, we can redirect the payment to the correct account, so you don't need to do anything. Payments are registered to Ropo with a delay of a few days. In order to avoid delays and possible ambiguities in payments in the future, please remember to pay your next bills with Ropo's payment details.
Log in to your online bank. If you paid the rent bills of your previous property manager by eInvoice, please first delete the old mandate from your online bank.
Please double-check your bill or tenancy agreement to confirm whether you're renting the apartment from Joo Kodit or Niskanen Residential. Then, you can request eInvoices from your online bank using the correct company name or business ID:
- Joo Kodit, y-tunnus: 2808794-5
- Niskanen Residential, y-tunnus: 2692391-1
- E-invoices are not available for tenancy agreements with Jaakko Niskanen as the lessor.
The reference number on your bill will serve as your payer identification.
Choose your preferred settings, such as whether you want to pay the e-Invoice automatically.
And there you go, one less thing to remember, allowing you to focus on the important things in your life. If you have any problems ordering e-Invoices, please ask your bank's customer service to help you out.
The new payment details are not updated automatically in your old eInvoice agreement. Here’s what you need to do:
Cancel your old eInvoice agreement.
Set up a new eInvoice agreement with the new payment details provided by Ropo.
If you have authorised Kela to pay your general housing allowance directly to Joo Kodit before September 2024, you don't need to do anything. Joo Kodit has informed them about the changes.
If you haven't authorised Kela yet, send them a copy of your tenancy agreement, a copy of your rent bill, and your permanent reference number, which you can find in the Jooppi residents’ app under My documents > Bills.
The easiest way to manage your queries is through the MyRopo service. There, you can check your billing status and make payments. You can also reach Ropo's customer service via MyRopo.
